Corrosion Resistant Coating refers to protective layers applied to substrates (primarily steel and concrete) to prevent deterioration caused by chemical reactions with the environment, such as rusting of steel or acid attack on concrete. In flooring, these epoxy or polyurethane coatings act as a passive barrier, isolating the substrate from corrosive agents.
For concrete floors, corrosion often comes from chlorides (de-icing salts), sulfates, or acidic/alkaline spills. The coating must have low permeability to these ions and excellent adhesion to prevent underfilm corrosion. For steel substrates, epoxy primers with high zinc or other inhibitive pigments are used.
We apply corrosion-resistant coatings that are specifically tested and certified for the intended service environment, providing documented protection that extends the lifecycle of industrial assets and reduces maintenance costs.
